A Vision Realized: The XOverland Ranch
The XOverland Ranch is more than just a piece of land; it is the culmination of years of passion, hard work, and a deep-seated love for exploration. Situated on hundreds of acres the property offers breathtaking views, open spaces, and a perfect blend of rugged terrain and modern conveniences. The ranch is designed to be both a functional base of operations and a welcoming retreat for overlanders.
Its original vision was explained by Clay Croft during a Q and A session at The Hub. While at a meeting with the XO team, the team wanted to train and facilitate overlanders and let them loose to explore the world. Clay said they needed to acquire property and a place to help make the vision a reality. After a short 6-8 months XO acquired a previous wedding venue with the help of friends, family and investors. The XOverland Ranch was born.

The XOverland team has meticulously planned every detail of the ranch, ensuring it meets the needs of both seasoned overlanders and those new to the community.

World-Class Amenities
The Hub
One of the highlights of the XOverland Ranch is its state-of-the-art facilities. The main building called the Hub serves as the heart of the property. Its meticulously crafted, pine-beamed, round barn was the central gathering place at the grand opening. We gathered there every night to commune with fellow overlanders while enjoying a cool cocktail during the hot-weathered event. Kids and adults alike ate s’mores at the fire pits as a spectacular sunset emblazoned the evening’s sky.

For visitors, the ranch offers a wide range of amenities designed to enhance the overlanding experience; 10 luxury cabins, The Roadhouse (community clubhouse), The Lab (classroom), The Armory (podcast studio and garage), 8 acre 4WD test track, 8 miles of offroad trails, 4 acres of motorcycle test/trails, 37 acre campground and 5 acres of pond and lake. There’s even an airfield! They are also building a shooting range. The cabins are available for rent and keeping with XO’s style, each cabin is labeled with a placard displaying the name of a world-famous explorer.

The XOverland Community

The grand opening of the XOverland Ranch is not just about showcasing the property; it’s about bringing together the overlanding community. The event featured a variety of activities, including a welcome night at The Hub, vendor expo with gear demonstrations, 4WD course driving, and Toyota’s driving experience with the latest Land Cruisers and Tacomas to offroad into the foothills. The last night featured an outdoor movie night on The Hub’s lawn showcasing a never-before-seen overlanding film. We are sworn to secrecy until it’s officially released by XO. It was a unique opportunity for overlanding enthusiasts to connect, share their experiences, and learn from one another.
The XOverland team also hosted several workshops during the event, covering topics such as vehicle maintenance, navigation, and medical first aid. These sessions were led by experts in the field and provided valuable insights for both beginners and seasoned overlanders.

A Big Fan of XOverland

My daughter Hannah found out about the XOverland Ranch grand opening on Instagram and expressed an interest in attending with me.

She’s a big fan and was very excited to see the team at their new venture. She even got to participate in the first aid survival class having recently got her CPR certification.

“While attending the XOverland Ranch grand opening I got to see people of all ages working together to make the event the best it could be. I especially saw how hard the young staff worked but also had fun. Even though the weather was hot they always worked through it. The XO team inspires me to always find the positive when things break down or get tough… to push through, but to always slow down and take it all in. Experiencing the event inspires me to become an overlander and explore the world even more.”
